Leeds runs a compact, crowded December. We supply bar, floor and event staff for office parties, bar hires and hotel party nights on one published festive rate, with names confirmed within two hours.
Leeds is a city of large employers, and a lot of their Christmas parties land in the same few weeks and the same square mile. Law firms, banks, public bodies and the big back offices book from the last week of November, and the first three Fridays of December are the pinch point. Standing parties in bars and converted warehouses are more common here than sit-down dinners.
The late trade on Call Lane, Greek Street and around the Corn Exchange means guests rarely go home when the party ends. If your venue hands over to a public bar at 11pm, the clear-down needs to be fast and planned.
Salt Social People is based in Newcastle, about ninety minutes away by train. We are building a West Yorkshire team on the same terms as everywhere else. At booking we tell you within two hours what we can fill with people who live locally. Where a party is bigger than our Leeds bench on that date, we fill the gap with our travelling core team, with travel shown at cost, or tell you the number we can deliver.
Leeds has no underground or tram, and a lot of people who work in the city live in Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield or Harrogate. On a late finish the last train matters. We write the finish time into the brief and check it against how each person gets home before they accept. If the finish is after the last train, we say so and plan a taxi or a lift, shown at cost.
On the busiest Fridays the taxi ranks by the station queue for a long time after midnight. If your venue can book a staff taxi, tell us.

At peak, one bartender to every 33 guests keeps the open bar moving. Three floor staff serve bowl food and keep glasses coming back so the bar never runs dry. Festive rates: Core £28.00, Skilled £31.00, Lead £37.00. If the night comes in under the quoted total, we refund 5%. New clients also get one person for one four-hour shift free on their first booking.
